Lisa Annabel Ellis
Lisa is a solution-focused sustainability professional, specializing in assessment, design and integration of sustainability within business strategies. She has led a community climate action project in partnership with Environment and Climate Change Canada. She is a Board member at the Toronto Botanical Gardens where she is supporting the integration of green initiatives into their $50M/35-acre expansion plan.
Drawing on her well-rounded science and financial sector expertise, Lisa helps clients advance their sustainability practices for the benefit of all stakeholders across the value chain. Lisa also places a strong emphasis on transparency and good governance, collaborating with clients to understand their ESG risks and opportunities to generate superior long-term performance and value.
Lisa also brings extensive knowledge on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and can assist clients with the quantification of climate-related impacts, target-setting and decarbonization opportunities. She helps clients to develop ESG programs in line with the requirements of the TCFD framework requirements and other leading ESG frameworks (SASB, GRI, etc.)
Lisa holds an Honours Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University. She is also a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) with a Six Sigma Green Belt, and a Fundamentals of Sustainable Accounting (FSA) Level II Candidate.
With 20+ years of experience in developing business and operational strategies – within several sectors, including Energy, Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, Transportation and Financial Services – Lisa has a proven track record of leading award-winning transformation initiatives for companies of all sizes across North America.
